The 2023 Harvest Evening Celebration will take place Thursday, October 12, 6:30-8:30pm at Franklin Plaza in Troy and will feature “The Food Pantry Chef’s Challenge” in which local chefs create tastings incorporating food items commonly stocked at our local pantries. Prior to the festivities you are invited to attend a VIP reception as a member of the Honorary Committee beginning at 5:30pm. This includes hors-d’oeuvres and an open bar, before moving on to the main event which consists of live music, a silent auction, small plates from various restaurants, dessert, and a cash bar.
In 2022 more than 69,000 people received food for 3.2 million meals in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties. The Food Pantries works with our member pantries to make sure as many needs are met as possible. This means not only food, but diapers, wipes, baby formula, hygiene, and household products. Last year alone we delivered over 3 million pounds of food through our Food Express and Food Shuttle programs. YOU can help us continue this work!
